Hi!                                                                                                      January 19, 2017

Right now I'm sitting in the school library writing this letter for you. Today was my first day in my new dream school and I was dying to tell someone about it. You won't believe what you soon are about to read, because this school isn't an ordinary school. It's beyond ordinary and it's what I've always dreamt about. I'm sure you've heard about my big passion to soccer, and I've always been complaining that I get to practice far too little all because of school and homework. Well, not anymore! This school has combined my favourite thing in the whole world with educating, and I'm loving it! Today we got our schedule and half of the lessons is to practice soccer. Now you are probably thinking, but isn't this going to make you focus less on school work? At first I thought the same. As much as I love to play soccer, I also have to focus on my education. But that's not going to be a problem at all. You see, besides all the practice we also have normal lessons like, Science, Math and English. The teachers are also always making sure that the pupils are concentrating on the school work and of course on the pitch. That means that the school is also strict, but not in a bad way. I always tell myself that if I want to achieve my goals in life I have to work hard.

Well okay, enough about me for awhile. I'm pretty sure that you are very curious to find out more about the school. What does it look like? Are there any rules? And the most important question, do you get to meet any famous players? Don't worry, I'm about to answer each question. First of all as you already know the school is placed on a soccer stadium, and a big one too. We also have our dorms placed on the stadium. We have access to a big cafeteria where I think I'm going to spend a lot of my time in with my friends. They have ice cream, hamburgers and a lot more, but as a soccer player you have to think about eating healthy. But an ice cream now or then isn’t going to harm anyone, right? We spend most of the practices outside on the main pitch, but when it's occupied we have to hold the practise outside on the small pitches surrounding the stadium. At first I was thinking, what if it's raining or the weather is bad? But then I remembered that that's never going to be a problem, here in Buenos Aires it never rains! We get to meet the player of the famous team CA River Plate and sometimes we even get to watch them practice. Our coach tells us that watching another team practice is another way of learning.

This school is different from other schools in many ways, not only the soccer part by also the part when it comes rules. That's right, this school doesn't have any rules! Here everyone has to take responsibility for themselves, that means that we have to be mature and handle situations in a good way. But if someone does something wrong, he or she will be sent to the the head teacher and coach. Later they will have to decide how the person will be punished. But that rarely happens.

The classrooms looks like the normal ones that I had in my old school. But the most exciting thing is the dorms. We have to share the dorms with our friends, that means it's going to be like a sleepover, but every day instead! Every week we also have soccer tournaments between the different dorms. How awesome is that?  I really like it here and I wish you could experience it just like me, maybe someday you will but for now I hope this letter helped you with some information. Write back soon and take care!

Love Helin
