My ending to "Murder my dear"

-” I will get it! And it will give you time to think about your explanation.” Sonia said as she walked to the phone and answered it.
-” Hello, this is Sonia.”
On the phone
“ Yes Hello, this is Detective Inspector Harry Jarvis”. Jarvis said.
“ Oh, Hello inspector. What's on your mind?” Sonia asked curiously why he was calling her.
“ I want to talk to Detective Constable Fletcher. I believe he's with you.” Jarvis answered.
Yes, of course. Hold on.” Sonia said.
Sonia walked over to Flecher on the couch and reached out her hand to give him the phone.
“Who is it?” Flecher asked before taking the phone.
“ Answer and you will see” she answered. Flecher grabbed the phone and answered it. He finally hung up the phone after what seemed to be ages.
“ So?” Sonia asked.
“ Detective Inspector Harry Jarvis is coming over” he answered suddenly looking very pale. Was it something that bothered him? Sonia thought. He's acting really strange.
30 minutes later…
It was a knock on the door, one knock, two knocks, three knocks.
“ Hello Detective Jarvis” Sonia said as she opened the door. “ What's the hurry?” She asked.
“Let me talk to Flecher” he said bursting inside the apartment. After him came a long grey haired man, Detective Sergeant Mickey Watts. Sonia closed the door and walked in to the kitchen to find Jarvis and Flecher arguing.
I didn't do it! How can you come her and accusing me to have murdered a man.” Flecher almost shouted.
“ The fingerprints didn't match, we arrested the wrong man and you were the only one there running away and told us that you saw blood on his raincoat. You are the only one it can be!” Jarvis shouted back.
“I don't believe it, I have a perfect explanation to what happened that night.” Flecher said.
“Let's hear it then. What were you doing near Lamburne’s house that night?” Sonia said.
I was just taking a long walk, I wasn't feeling so good after the dinner party in the office that night, so I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. It isn't something big, really it isn't and I can prove that it wasn't me” Flecher said crossing his arms.
“How?” Watt said looking a bit nervous.
If it was me, why would I tell you that I saw what happened and tell you all the details of what I saw and do I have to remind you, I gave you the fingerprints!” Flecher said.
“ Well if it wasn't you who was it then?” Jarvis said. He was clearly desperate for an answer.
“ Well, I may have an idea. The only one who knows about the fingerprints and took care of them was Detective Sergeant Mickey Watts. He maybe mixed up the fingerprints to trick everyone that it was Flecher” Sonia spoke up.
“ But why would he-” Jarvis cut off in the middle of his sentence.
“ What is it Sir” Flecher asked. Sonia turned around. Detective Sergeant Mickey Watts had disappeared without a trace.
